Contributions

One of my primary contributions was leading the cutscene creation and dialogue coding and documentation by using the YarnSpinner tool. I read through existing documentation to correctly add it to the existing project. Custom methods were created to be used within the tool to facilitate cutscene interactions and events. For ease of use by other programmers and designers, proper documentation about formatting and use was created. I also created trigger prefabs and methods to run these dialogue scripts within the scene.

I also helped create, polish, and present the demo at Atlanta Dreamhack 2022. Yoon and I set up the booth before opening, and the leads and I worked nonstop to perfect the demo. Even during Dreamhack itself, we kept working on it. We listened to player feedback, tracked bugs as they appeared, and pushed out multiple updated builds for visitors to play.

Outside of this, I played a flex position in Willow's creation, performing whatever tasks were needed by the project's leads. I created shaders, such as the shimmer around the Hostess. I helped place and fix the lighting within the scene. I checked in on sub-leads and individual members for progress.
